Until recently company founder David Routledge was employed by one of the regions largest chains, as a branch partner, frustrated at working for a company, which seemed to undervalue their staff and more importantly their clients, he decided to launch Red Kite Homes.

After leaving school I joined the Royal Airforce where I spent 13 happy years, once leaving the forces I became a Manager at JD Wetherspoon, for 6 Years before moving to Spain. Where I became an Estate Agent Working for one the overseas chains dealing with new build homes. When returning from overseas I worked for one of the North East's biggest chains, where I was branch partner for 2 branches
